Finding Work: Nuts and Bolts
How can I find work if I have no experience whatsoever? The biggest concern many students studying at various interpreting schools might be not knowing how to develop their career paths after graduation. In this workshop, we will discuss some tips to launch and successfully develop your career as a professional interpreter. Topics to be covered include: how to build a relationship with agencies, understanding the basic mindset of a professional interpreter, and how to become an interpreter clients love and want to work with. The speaker will give you real-life stories based on her experience as an in-house and freelance conference interpreter.
